Our school day

Our school day is carefully structured around a clear and consistent timetable that sets specific times for learning sessions, activities and breaks. Our school day starts at 9am and concludes at 2.45pm, with playground supervision from 8.40am.

The importance of school attendance

Regular attendance is vital for your child's learning, development and future success. When students attend regularly, they can fully engage with lessons, group work and hands-on activities; establish consistent routines; and build positive, supportive relationships with their teachers and peers.

If your child is unable to attend school, please notify us as soon as possible. The preferred method for reporting absences is through School Bytes. Using School Bytes allows you to:

• quickly and easily provide reasons for absence anytime and from any device
• help staff promptly and accurately record attendance
• support timely follow-up and assistance customised to your child's needs

Promptly notifying the school via School Bytes helps us maintain safety, track attendance accurately and assist your child's learning continuity. While phone or email notifications are also accepted, we strongly encourage all families to use School Bytes for efficient communication.

Arriving at school on time every day is very important. Prompt arrival ensures your child does not miss essential instructions or the beginning of lessons, helps them to settle smoothly and to start learning alongside their peers.

If your child is running late, please contact the school office so staff are aware and can support your child upon arrival.
